Vettori
The goal of this project was to create the brand and website for a new logistics company named Vettori Inc. Throughout the process I was tasked with creating the logo, website, brochure, training manual and several social media posts. I was able to utilize several different programs and software such as Wordpress, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC and VistaCreate. This project has allowed me to showcase and develop many of my different skills.
Logo & Email Signature
The idea for the logo was to keep it simple polished and clear. The client and I decided to use the navy blue and gold because they add a pop of colour without looking too busy or overwhelming. The versatility of the logo allows the client to use the design in many different ways. If they do not want something so busy they are able to remove the slogan and use the logo as is or if they would like to add a small detail to something like a brochure or manual they can use the “V” on its own and it still identifies as Vettoris’ logo.
The signature is a simplified version of the logo. It needed to fit the dimensions of a standard email signature so I rearranged the logo to spell Vettori with the “V” icon and the client wanted to replace the slogan with freight services.
Website
The website needed to be a clean design that was user friendly and easy to navigate. When you navigate to the home page it immediately shows you that the company is a logistics company.
I was able to use WordPress to complete the website. With the knowledge I obtained in college and my ability to self teach I utilized many different tools that WordPress provides in order to create the design, layout and functionality of the website. I started with a basic layout and was able to build the site using various plugins and modules that WordPress offers. I ran into some margin and padding issues that were pre-programmed into the template but I was able to add my own CSS into the code to change it and customize the site even further. I used the developer tool that Google Chrome offers and I was able to locate the tag that needed to be changed so the spacing issues no longer occurred.
This project provided me with a challenge that allowed me to showcase many different skills and made me think outside of the box.

Sales Training Manual
I was tasked with putting together a 13 page training manual for the employees. The manual needed to have a simple design that was easy to follow. Each page is consistent and uses the same layout and design. They are all labeled with precise headings so the reader wont struggle to locate what page is needed. The colours I used were the same as in the logo to keep a consistent brand with the company. The manual was designed for web so I made sure that each file was compressed without losing any important details. I also had to keep in mind that this manual needed to load easily through email and open quickly for the viewer.
Brochure
Vettori needed a brochure to give out to clients that outlined the services they could provide for them. It needed to communicate to potential clients what the company was and use it as a resource to help grow the business. Using Photoshop CC I was able to put together the pages needed for the brochure. The font I chose provides the reader an easy reading experience because it is not busy or overwhelming to the eye. The brochure was designed for both print and web. To accommodate both I saved the files as a PDF with the proper colour and compression settings. Overall, the brochure brings together the company brand through colours and design, which gives it a professional look.
Social Media | Marketing Emails
Companies need to get themselves out there to build their client base. Vettori likes to keep in touch using social media posts on LinkedIn to inform clients what is going on in the logistics business as well as keeping them up to date on services provided. I utilized VistaCreate, Canva, Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC to provide eye catching posts that peaked the interest of clients and kept them informed and up to date. The email designs were made as another way of building the clientele and even though they were not used they still provided me the opportunity to expand my skill set. I was able to use my typography and layout skills in each post. This project also kept me up to date on different marketing and advertising tactics used by businesses today.
